The rules for using myportal. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
myportal lets you build a 3D page that holds your links and publishes it at myportal.bio/your-handle. Features marked coming soon in the product are not part of what you get today.
Your account
- You sign in with Google. Keep that account secure — anyone with it has your portal.
- You must be at least 13.
- Everything done through your account is your responsibility.
Your handle
Handles are first come, first served, and some words are reserved for running the site. We may reclaim a handle that impersonates a person or a brand, that is used to mislead, or that was registered in bulk with no intention of using it. We’ll tell you first where we can.
Your content stays yours
You keep every right in what you publish. To run the service you give us permission to store, copy and display that content for the sole purpose of operating myportal and showing your portal to your visitors. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account. You confirm you have the right to publish what you publish.
What you may not do
- Publish anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or that sexualises minors.
- Infringe someone else’s copyright, trade mark or image rights.
- Impersonate a person or an organisation.
- Use a portal for phishing or malware, or to link to any of the above.
- Scrape, overload or attack the service.
We may take down a portal that breaks these rules, and close the account if it is serious or repeated. You can appeal by writing to our contact address.
Plans and payment
- Free — build and publish a portal with the free templates and features. No card.
- Pro — $4.99 per month, billed monthly and renewing until you cancel. Taxes may be added depending on where you are.
Stripe handles payment; we never see your card number. If a payment keeps failing the account returns to the free plan and your portal stays online with the free features.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from your account settings. Your subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed. We don’t pro-rate part-months.
Refunds. Subscribe, change your mind within 14 days, and write to our contact address — we will refund you, provided you haven’t used the paid features in the meantime.
Availability
We work to keep myportal up but we don’t promise it never goes down. Features may change; we’ll give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be waived. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it, and we are not liable for indirect loss such as lost profit or lost audience. We don’t check the sites your links point to and are not responsible for what is on them.
Ending it
Delete your account any time from your account settings. It removes your profile, releases your handle and deletes every portal you made. Your published address stops working immediately, and it cannot be undone.
We may end the contract if you materially break these terms, or on 30 days’ notice if we stop running the service — in which case any paid time you haven’t used is refunded.
Changes
We may update these terms. For a substantive change we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect, so you can cancel first if you disagree.
